About JoyScanner
JoyScanner was built out of a simple frustration: most “things to do” resources give you more options, not better ones. They assume you have unlimited time, energy, and enthusiasm for scrolling. Most weeks, that is not the reality.
JoyScanner takes a different approach. Instead of showing you everything, it asks what your week actually looks like — your time, budget, energy, mood, and travel tolerance — then returns a short London shortlist that fits. Each suggestion comes with a reason, time signal, cost guidance, and neighbourhood context.
The goal is not to be the biggest guide. It is to be the most useful one when you are tired, busy, or undecided.
Built by asambl
JoyScanner is made by the same team behind asambl — a private planning system designed to help you shape your week ahead. Both products share the same philosophy: tools should reduce friction, not add it.
