About JoyScanner
JoyScanner was built out of a simple frustration: most “things to do” resources give you more options, not better ones. They assume you have unlimited time, energy, and enthusiasm for scrolling. Most weeks, that is not the reality.
JoyScanner takes a different approach. Instead of showing you everything, it starts with the constraints doing the most decision work: time, budget, energy, mood, company, and travel tolerance. Then it returns a short shortlist that feels realistic enough to act on.
The goal is not to be the biggest guide. It is to be the most useful one when you are tired, busy, or undecided.
Built by asambl, but designed to stand on its own
JoyScanner is made by the same team behind asambl, a private planning system for shaping the week ahead. The connection matters, but the product still has to earn its place before any broader planning enters the picture.
